The rinsing tank is where the material is actually cleaned. Agitation and water flow scrub the surface while heavy contamination sinks and floating material is carried to the discharge.
Where it sits in the line
After crushing. It is usually the largest footprint in the line and the stage that sets the water circuit.
Build notes
- Tank length and water volume matched to the throughput and to how dirty the input is.
- Screw or paddle discharge, with the water circuit arranged so water can be reused.
- Access platforms and drainage arranged for cleaning between shifts.
