The dryer removes surface water by centrifugal force. The moisture content at the discharge is what decides whether the flake can be bagged and shipped, and what it is worth to the buyer.

At the end of the wash section, ahead of packing.

- Rotor and screen arrangement matched to the flake size.
- Discharge arranged around the packing or storage position.
- Optional thermal drying stage where a lower final moisture is required.
