Baled material arrives compressed and uneven. The bale opener breaks the bale apart and releases it as a steady stream, so the machines behind it are fed at a constant rate instead of in lumps.
Where it sits in the line
It is the first machine after the loading area. Feeding the line evenly protects the crusher and the rinsing stages from overload and gives the operator a controllable feed rate.

- Heavy plate body with replaceable wear liners in the working zone.
- Drive sized for continuous running, including bales that still contain wire, tape or strapping.
- Discharge height set to match the next stage in the line.
